Springfield, Missouri, also called the "Queen City of the Ozarks," is a thriving community of more than 150,000 residents. The Springfield area is blessed with a large number of Fellowship churches, which allow students to participate in the local church. The strength and ministry of the churches serve as a model for prospective Christian workers enrolled in the college.

Many recreational areas surround the city, and the tourist industry is the primary economy for the area.
